Academic Activities

I. Seminars

To help our masters candidates learn about new knowledge and trends in social welfare and social work, our Department selects certain topics and then invites related scholars and practitioners to give lectures every semester. Other sessions are offered on papers, research achievements published by graduate students or the staff of our Department, or other research of general interest on social work and/or social welfare topics.

II. International Academic Exchanges

To increase the knowledge and international vision of our students, the Department arranges on a regular basis visits to other departments and organizations related to social work in foreign countries. It also welcomes visitors from other foreign departments, organizations, agencies related to social work.

III. Academic Lectures and Practical Workshops

The Department invites scholars, experts, and practitioners to come and give instructions on social work topics from time to time. Additionally, we invite scholars and practitioners to participate in workshops designed to cultivate our students’ qualifications and practical operation skills.
